For several years Shiming has been involved in the research and development of consumer electronics products and technologies such as LCD, plasma displays, and household electronics. The Shiming manufacturing plant is located in the Changxing High and New Technology Industrial Garden in Shenzhen, China. Shenzhen is a center of foreign investment and since the late 1970s has been one of the fastest growing cities in the world. It is also the busiest port in China. SHANXI PROVINCE, China (August 15, 2007) -- Shiming U.S., Inc. (OTCBB: SGUS), a consumer electronics maker based in China, today announced its financial results for the second quarter ending June 30, 2007, as first reported in its 10-QSB quarterly report filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on August 14, 2007. Key Highlights from the three-month period ended June 30, 2007. • Revenue up 172 percent year over year to $2.9 million from $1.1 million in 2006. • Operating Expenses decreased 17 percent year over year to $0.45 million from $0.54 million in 2006. • Other Income is up 643 percent year over year to $1 million from $0.13 million in 2006. • Net Income is up 272 percent year over year to $1.24 million from $0.33 million in 2006 • EPS up 567 percent year over to 2 cents from 0.3 cents in 2006 Six-Month Period Ended June 30, 2007 The company during the six-month period for June 30, 2007 saw revenue increase 59.7 percent, or $2 million, year over year to $5.34 million from $3.34 million. Other Income is up 341 percent to $1.1 million from $0.25 million in June of 2006. Although Net Income is down 3 percent year over year to $1.63 million from $1.67 million for the period ending June 30, the EPS is up 68 percent for the period to 2.44 cents. Balance Sheet As of June 30, 2007, the company had $4.02 million in cash, compared to $3.55 million compared to December 31, 2006. The company had working capital of $21.87 million at June 30, 2007 and a current ratio of 9.46 percent.
